AP Medical Education Recruitment 2025 has been announced by the Andhra Pradesh Medical Education Department for filling contract and outsourcing posts at Government Medical College (GMC) and Government Teaching General Hospital (GTGH), Rajamahendravaram.

Each post has specific educational and technical qualification requirements as prescribed in the notification.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess the required academic, technical, or professional qualifications for the post they are applying for. These include qualifications such as SSC / Intermediate / Diploma / Degree, depending on the post. Wherever applicable, registration with AP Para Medical Board (APPMB) or other relevant councils is mandatory.

If a candidate holds an equivalent qualification, they must submit Government orders supporting equivalency, failing which the application may be rejected.

Age Limit & Relaxation

• Upper Age Limit: 42 years (as on 01-12-2025)
• Age relaxations are applicable as per AP Government rules:
  • SC / ST / BC / EWS: 5 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: 3 years + service period
  • Differently-abled candidates: 10 years
• Maximum age limit after all relaxations: 52 years

Selection Process

The selection will be made based on a total of 100 marks, which includes:

• 75% weightage for marks obtained in qualifying examinations
• Up to 10 marks for experience after acquiring the required qualification
• Up to 15 marks for contract / outsourcing / COVID-19 service, subject to conditions

Candidates claiming service weightage must submit valid service certificates issued by competent authorities.

Application Fee

The application fee must be paid through Demand Draft in favour of Principal, Government Medical College, Rajamahendravaram.

• OC Candidates: ₹300
• BC / SC / ST / EWS / Ex-Servicemen / PWD: ₹200

Separate applications and demand drafts are required for each post and institution.

Important Instructions

• This recruitment is limited to the erstwhile East Godavari District for local candidature.
• Merit lists will be valid for one year from the date of notification.
• The appointment is purely temporary, initially for one year, and may be extended based on government instructions.
